Dr. David Middaugh is the leading back pain specialist in El Paso and founder of El Paso Manual Physical Therapy. But who is Dr. David, and what makes him different from the doctors who have told you that back pain is just part of getting old, or that pain management is your only option?
My name is Dr. David Middaugh and I’m the founder of El Paso Manual Physical Therapy, the southwest’s leading private physical therapy clinic.
I understand that you want to be able to enjoy your life without constantly worrying about aches and pains or fearing what the future holds because of debilitating back pain.
When back and sciatica problems flare up, I know that it’s tempting to cross your fingers and hope things get better on their own.
The problem is that this hardly ever happens.
This leaves you battling regular flare-ups that get progressively worse and leave you taking pills, and contemplating injections or surgery.
If that sounds like you, you’re not alone and I can help you put an end to agonizing back pain!
I was born and raised here in El Paso and I truly love it here. My wife Cindy and 4 young children are busy with kids activities most of our free time away from work. We love to spend time with our extended family here in town.
We love sports, exercising, being outdoors, and traveling. We frequent southern New Mexico throughout the year to get in fishing, skiing, hiking, and sightseeing.
But I don’t like to be away from El Paso for too long, since there is so much to do here. This is where I call home!
After graduating in the top 10% from Jefferson High School in south central El Paso, I was awarded a full-ride scholarship to attend the University of Texas at Austin.
I finished a 4 year bachelor’s degree in 3.5 years and was immediately accepted into physical therapy school at Texas State University.
I chose physical therapy school over medical school because I felt that I’d be able to better help people because physical therapists usually spend more time with their patients than doctors do.
I knew that health education, exercise, and healthy living is wildly more valuable than relying on medications, injections, and surgery.
Right after completing a doctorate in physical therapy, I entered a residency and fellowship program in orthopedic manual therapy. It’s a grueling post-doctorate program that less than 1% of PTs in the world complete.
Then I moved back to El Paso because I wanted to bring this cutting-edge healthcare approach back to my hometown. That led me to start El Paso Manual Physical Therapy, a fast-growing company that consistently gains popularity throughout the region and internationally.
A few of years ago, I decided to share my knowledge on YouTube and we steadily grew a following for years. Our company’s channel has more than doubled in subscribers over the past 6 months. As of now, we are about to surpass 300K subscribers and are on pace to hit 1 million in the near future.
I specialize in helping people in El Paso get fast, natural relief from back pain conditions such as disc degeneration, disc herniations, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis and so much more. I often help people with upper back pain too.
Whether your back pain has been caused by an incident, like a fall or car accident, or whether you have a family history of back pain and have suffered for years, I am certain that I can help you get natural pain relief and help you get back to doing the things you love to do.
As well as helping people in my clinic, I also help people suffering from back pain through free advice I provide on my clinic’s YouTube channel, downloadable eBooks offered on our website, and blogs I write for websites.
In addition, the 28 Day Back Health & Wellness Boost Program, my self-guided online program for resolving the root muscle imbalance of most back problems, has helped people all over the world get access to my unique treatment approach.
We often get emails from people in other states and countries letting us know how they’re now able to better enjoy their hobbies and family time. They also have stopped taking medications and even feel well enough to confidently cancel their surgery.
I know that you feel let down by doctors after a rushed visit where you weren’t listened to. Maybe you feel like you didn’t have your questions answered and that you were given a one-size fits all solution.
Back pain is an incredibly common problem in the USA and especially in El Paso, Texas.
Our healthcare system is unfortunately focused on dealing with the symptoms rather than treating the root of the problem.
So many people suffer for much longer than they should while relying on taking over the counter pain medication, prescription pain medications, getting injections, and even having surgeries that sometimes leave them worse off.
It’s especially obvious here in El Paso since there are so many surgery clinics with new ones opening every year. They often work with physical therapy clinics that are specialized in helping people recover from surgery, NOT those trying to avoid surgery.
And don’t get me started on the pain management clinics that just keep opening more and even larger offices.
This is something that strongly motivates me every single day because I know there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people right now feeling lost, hopeless and depressed about their back pain and how it’s ruining their lives.
Back pain does more than make it uncomfortable to sleep well at night, pick things up from the floor, or get in and out of the car.
It stops us from doing the things we love, leaving us unhappy and unfulfilled.
It stops us from enjoying ourselves because we are paranoid and anxious about surgery and losing our independence in the future.
Back pain causes massive emotional damage, and the options from most healthcare professionals of pain medications, injections, radiofrequency ablation, surgery or giving you a list of exercises to try at home DOES NOT work for the vast majority of people like you.
I know that you feel let down by doctors after a rushed visit where you weren’t listened to, didn’t feel like you had your questions answered, and were given a one-size fits all solution.
That is the exact opposite of how me and my team work with our patients.
At my clinic, you are given time to explain your back pain problem in a nice relaxed environment.
After you’ve shared the details of your back problem, we then explain the various options available so you can make an informed decision and decide what’s best for you - we don’t tell you what to do, or try to force you towards a particular treatment plan.
As a result, people who visit our clinic love the attention, care, and support they are given, and this gives them the confidence to take their health into their own hands.
Once treatment has started, our team provides the highest level of care, ensuring that our treatment is something that you can enjoy - not simply a way out of pain.
My physical therapy practice is the most specialized in helping people avoid medication, injections, and surgery in El Paso. We’ve been in practice for 9 years and have lots of Google reviews, all with a 5 star rating.
Head over to our YouTube channel and find the playlist that best fits your back problem to get help right now. While you’re there, read the comments from people all over the world who share how they’re improving with our help (which is often the opposite of what they were told to do!).
And if all of that isn’t enough…
I give a 100% satisfaction guarantee on ALL and ANY treatment that you receive at El Paso Manual Physical Therapy.
That means that we will make you very HAPPY as you hope, or you DON’T pay for any of it.
